3. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored using access-controlled database infrastructure provided by Supabase. We regularly review our security posture and apply best practices where feasible. However, no system is completely immune to risk.

4. Third-Party Services

SEESAW integrates with third-party data providers including Polygon.io for market data, SEC EDGAR for regulatory filings, and Supabase for database infrastructure. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing the data they process.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Your theme preferences are stored locally in your browser via localStorage.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us directly.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.

8. GDPR (European Economic Area)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights including: the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data; the right to data portability; the right to restrict or object to processing; and the right to withdraw consent. Our legal basis for processing personal data is legitimate interest (providing and improving the service) and consent (where required).

9. CCPA (California Residents)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. SEESAW does not sell personal information.

10. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

SEESAW is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
